Golden Opportunities Dear travel professional, Since 3 years and the global crisis, we see that half season (May, June, September and October) is not working well for our sailing cruises on our wonderful traditional wooden yachts, despite that is probably the best period for sail in Greece. Fortunately for us, July and August are Ok (even better than before, as our clients come back) and this is enough to keep our family company in a healthy situation. However it is a shame to prepare 2 professional yachts for the season and see them staying on harbor during months. These two 70 feet traditional wooden sailing yachts are ideal to discover Greece and its islands.
Sailing on such 75 gross tonnage yacht (this is the useful volume), has nothing to do with a 50 feet polyester sailing yacht (usually around 25 gross tonnage), with the same number of passengers. There is a lot of space, sunbeds on the deck etc… Nothing to do also with bigger boats with dozens, hundreds or thousands passengers in organized trip. Our guests have the privilege to sail on “private yacht conditions” with the possibility to enjoy small coves and harbors and not only the big “touristic” spots. It is not 5 stars hotel (only skipper and hostess) but luxury can be also authenticity and simplicity : our guests appreciate to feel like in their own yacht. For 2013 and beyond, I am open to discuss about a global cooperation for the months May, June, September and October (or at least for 2 months deal), with unusual interesting conditions for one Partner. Also open to any other ideas for each yacht (sharing time solutions for individual, families or a private group, corporate use for one company in its public relations or incentive use, other…). Greece will become the “Cote d'Azur” of Europe and Mediterranean area, offering more than 10 000 miles coast line (as long coast line than the round of the whole Mediterranean sea), with its hundred islands and good weather. Even if you sail personally 2 months per year in Greece, you will need dozen years for go once in each different island ! Greece economic situation now, is one opportunity for the future.
